It is an honor to offer my guidance as an Archetypal Somatics™ Coach. With warmth, attuned presence and in true collaboration, I seek to offer a sacred space of unconditional acceptance and compassion in which to explore, discover, grieve, witness, integrate, self empower, transform and laugh! I will support your self-discovery by inviting attention to felt sensations, associated memories, and intuitions and I passionately believe in our innate ability to return to wholeness through our bodies energetic wisdom. I am honest and compassionate and I aim to live from my authenticity as I am on my own heroic journey of growth and transformation. I am deeply passionate about working with clients who are interested in transforming their relationship to food, negative body image and dis-ordered eating; this trailhead has been a profound portal for my own journey toward wholeness, mature humility, and self love. I am devoted to this work and practice. Returning to being a beginner again and again with fresh eyes and cultivating my capacity for deeper connection and acceptance. My family is my anchor and I am blessed with two teenagers, a partner of 30 years, two dogs and a cat!
My coaching is rooted in Archetypal Somatics™, a somatic/body based and intuitive approach to work with and companion our emotions, patterns, behaviors, and beliefs. By companioning our patterns and working with our unconscious/shadow energies, instead of bypassing or fixing them, we open up powerful opportunities to evolve and transform. With curiosity, compassion, and courage we travel inward to our internal landscape with the honest and transformative power of soma as our guide.
A somatic orientation is experienced, it is felt. Soma is more than the body, it is the energetic hum of presence that is within our bodies and the universe. Soma is the place of here and now, the place where transformation happens, and the exquisite guide to our innate radiance. Soma is regenerative, always replenishing, it is the eternal ebb and flow. Through soma we remember the interconnectedness of all living things, of all life.
It is through our capacity to compassionately be with the truth of our experience, rather than push it away, that we can make transformative change in our lives. I will be your trusted ally through this process as I help you become more attuned to your felt/somatic sense.I use mindfulness and somatic practices that go beyond traditional talk therapy. In sessions, this may look like slowing down and tapping into the potency of the present moment.
We will look at what is showing up for you personally and access the larger teachings within. Together we will go from content to process and travel from surface to depths. As this capacity for presence grows, we usher in a connection to our core, our authentic essence, which is wise, loving, calm, confident, and creative. My work, study and practice are informed by wisdom traditions that focus on direct experience. I am calm, creative, and kind and I am ready to hold sacred space to include all experiences. I weave in an eclectic approach to my work, drawing on somatic practices, Jungian concepts, Internal Family Systems. Our constant cultivation of self love, self compassion, and self acceptance will be the foundation of our sacred space. I am here to support you to make shifts in your life so you can experience more joy and live a balanced and connected life. Through this work you will experience fresh and new perspectives from limiting patterns, and transform and reclaim these patterns into empowering allies and your greatest strengths. You will develop skills that will help you feel more grounded, confident, present.
